Came in on a Tuesday evening w/ a party of 6 to celebrate my in-laws birthday. The wait was approximately about 40 minutes so I would definitely suggest making a reservation. They have a setup of chips, salsas & guac waiting for you once you're seating, which is always great! The food & drinks were also good, great portions for a good price. Stephanie & Allison were very attentive and fast. Definitely will be coming back.

They were busy when we came yet sat us as quick as possible which was about 30 mins. That was the only good thing that came out of the night. We were a party of 7 and the restaurant was near closing (about an hour away) in which they sat us outside and were promptly served chips and salsa. We had to get up and go inside to ask for our drinks because the waiters did not come out to us. We also had to go and get the waiter when we were ready to order and also for the refills. The meat was bland and had no flavor as if they rushed to cook it and didn't add spices or anything. They could have at least had the decency and spit in our food to give it some flavor, but no, it was all flavorless. The cheese was nacho cheese not made the authentic way, which they should advertise. The manager heard our complaints and gave us a 25% discount for future visit. which is why I'm giving a 2 star instead of a 1. If we do go back and use the 25% off coupon and the food is worth eating I'll update my review.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in all of San Diego! Every one the works there is awesome, the place always has a crowd and a great vibe. Biggest surprise are their burgers, they are delicious as well.

Yo......super good food. Great cocktails. I am kinda blue that my favorite server went on to other ventures (love and miss you Paloma) but the whole staff is nice! #atelikeawildanimal
